A limited edition, hand printed Collagraph and Linocut print on 300gsm Somerset paper using oil-based inks. The image size is 35cm x 35cm.
 
I love the intricate structure of Teasels.They can often be seen here in the Cotswolds, particularly on the towpaths of the canal near Stroud, as this was once a weaving town, and teasels played a role in carding the wool. A plant with purpose. It has the added benefit of being full of seeds, which Goldfinches love.
 
Each print is part of a limited edition of 20 and is signed and numbered. They are all printed on my etching press, therefore each print is unique.
 
Collagraph is a similar technique to etching but uses nontoxic methods and natural materials to create the printing plate. I enjoy the rich textures and atmosphere you can create within Collagraph. The individual inking for each print creates unique variations within each edition.
 
This print will be carefully wrapped in acid free tissue and posted in a rigid tube, tracked via royal mail with only a single postage charge, regardless of how many items ordered.
